The war to end all wars

100 years ago today, Great Britain declared war on Germany and entered the First World War. I'm taking time out today to remember all those who fought, and died, in World War 1. Lest we forget.

On May 24, 1915, Italy entered the war. November 4, 1918 emerged victorious from the conflict, but at the price of over 650,000 deaths. Was it worth it?
Some historians speak of the Great European Civil War or Second Thirty Years' War (1914-1945). I unite myself to your remembrance of the fallen of all wars.
